10-Year Vow Renewal on Isla Mujeres | Lise + Ron

Ten years ago, I photographed Lise and Ron’s destination wedding at Privilege Aluxes on Isla Mujeres, and now, a decade later, I received an email from them saying they wanted to renew their vows with me as their photographer again! I couldn’t have been more excited!

With the help of my other business, Isla Mujeres Elopements, we put together a special celebration on a private beach where they could say I DO all over again.

Their vow renewal was an incredible celebration of the enduring bond they share. It was clear that their love for each other has only deepened over the years. Lise and Ron’s connection is one that exudes warmth and mutual respect, built on trust, laughter, and an undeniable affection for one another. It was a beautiful reminder of how strong their partnership is, and how that love still shines brightly between them.

What made their vow renewal even more meaningful was the presence of two dear friends who joined them as witnesses. It speaks volumes about Lise and Ron that their closest friends were there to share in such a personal, intimate moment. These friendships are a reflection of the love and care they’ve cultivated in their lives, and it was clear that the bonds between them run deep.

Adding to the magic of the day was the soulful sound of Alejandro, a gifted musician who serenaded the couple with gorgeous Spanish guitar melodies. His music filled the air with emotion and beauty, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that perfectly complemented the occasion.

As Susan captured the beautiful moments through her lens and Sabina officiated with her warm and heartfelt words, it was evident that this vow renewal was every bit as significant as their wedding day. Ten years later, Lise and Ron’s love has only grown stronger, and we are so grateful to have witnessed such a special and meaningful celebration.
