Pre-Ceremony Session on Isla Mujeres for a Beautiful Couple | Love at Punta Sur

Laura and Jeff’s love story with Isla Mujeres goes back over a decade, with the couple returning year after year to the island they’ve come to adore. It’s clear they have a special connection to the place, and when the time came to plan their elopement, choosing Isla Mujeres was an easy decision.

The only question left was, should they say “I do” on the beach or at Punta Sur? I explained they didn’t have to choose—they could do both! And so, the adventure began.

We started our day at Punta Sur, the island’s stunning southernmost point. Known not only for its dramatic cliffs and stunning views but also as the place where the sun first touches Mexico each morning, Punta Sur offered the perfect backdrop for their pre-ceremony photos. The overcast sky added a soft, romantic light, making for beautiful, atmospheric images as we explored the rugged beauty of the cliffs. The cool weather made it easy to move around, and we captured some stunning shots as the couple enjoyed the moment together.

After an hour of laughter, love, and photos at Punta Sur, we made our way to a private beach location for their ceremony which was coordinated through Isla Mujeres Elopements. The calm, intimate atmosphere of the beach was the perfect setting for Laura and Jeff to exchange their vows.
