Isla Mujeres Caribbean Seaside Elopement | Amanda + Trevor

Amanda and Trevor’s love story began just a year ago at a casino, where they ended up chatting and laughing until 2 a.m. on a Monday night! When I asked Trevor what his first impression of Amanda was, he smiled and said, “There’s no way a girl that gorgeous could be single… until my brother told me she asked if I was single.” That kind of bold energy is hard to resist!

The moment they both knew they were meant to be was on their third date. While joking about booking a trip to Las Vegas, neither of them was actually kidding. As they browsed Expedia for flights and hotels with a few cocktails in hand, both looked at each other and said, “I’m serious, are you?” And just like that, they booked the trip on the spot.

Though neither Amanda nor Trevor had visited Isla Mujeres before, a coworker recommended the island, and after doing some research, they realized it was the perfect place for their destination wedding. They wanted something unique, beautiful, and romantic—a place that felt special just for the two of them - and with the help from Isla Mujeres Elopements, their dreams turned into reality! The dramatic rocky shore and the sound of the waves set the perfect scene for their vows. Afterward, we headed to Playa Norte for sunset portraits. The sky was beautifully overcast, which made for even more dramatic and stunning images—far better than a typical sunset shot!
