Heartfelt Isla Mujeres Wedding for Candy and Paul | An Unexpected Beginning

Candy and Paul’s love story began in an unexpected place—the hospital. Paul was scheduled for a procedure, and Candy, a nurse, was assigned to care for him that day. They met in the hallway, struck up a conversation, and instantly connected. After exchanging numbers, they spent the evening talking, and the next day, Candy surprised Paul with flowers and heart-healthy meals delivered to his room. The time they spent together in the hospital laid the foundation for a deep trust and closeness, and soon after, when Paul was sent home, Candy joined him. Together, they began a new chapter of their lives.

Having both visited Isla Mujeres a few times before, Candy and Paul were drawn to the island’s peaceful atmosphere, stunning waters, and warm people. After some reflection, they agreed that Isla Mujeres would be the perfect destination for their wedding. The serene setting, paired with the beauty of the island, created the ideal backdrop for their special day.

They hired Isla Mujeres Elopements to coordinate their wedding and Alejandro Campos to play Spanish guitar.

Before exchanging their vows on the beach, we ventured to Punta Sur for a pre-ceremony couple’s session. Candy and Paul were surrounded by their closest family and friends when they exchanged heartfelt vows on a secluded beach. There was laughter, love, and plenty of joyful moments, making the day truly unforgettable. It was a true privilege to be part of their destination wedding on the beautiful Isla Mujeres.
