Velavento Destination LGBTQ+ Wedding on Isla Mujeres | Holly + Jill

Holly and Jill’s destination wedding at Velavento Beach Club on Isla Mujeres was a beautiful testament to love in all its forms. Their small, intimate ceremony, surrounded by close family, was filled with joy, emotion, and a deep sense of connection. As an LGBTQ+ supportive wedding photographer, I was especially honored to capture this special day, knowing how meaningful it was for them to celebrate their love openly and authentically. Every couple deserves a wedding that reflects their unique bond, and I’m proud to provide a safe, welcoming space for LGBTQ+ couples to have their love captured in a way that is true to them.

Our day began with a romantic pre-ceremony couple’s session at Punta Sur, one of the most stunning locations on Isla Mujeres. Every smile, every glance, and every touch they shared was a perfect reflection of the love and connection they’ve built together.

Later, Holly and Jill exchanged vows in a private beach ceremony, surrounded by their closest family. The setting, with its serene atmosphere and the soothing sound of the waves, felt like the perfect place for them to declare their commitment to one another. It was a moment of deep emotion and pure love, one that I was so grateful to capture.

As the day came to a close, we finished with sunset photos on the pier, where the soft colors of the sky reflected the warmth and love shared between Holly and Jill. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

A special thank you to Jana of The Barefoot Planners for her expert coordination of their celebration. Jana's attention to detail and her ability to bring Holly and Jill’s vision to life made their wedding day run smoothly and effortlessly.

Thank you again, Holly and Jill, for allowing me to be part of your incredible journey. I wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness!
