Leah and Andre’s Pre-Ceremony Couples Session at Punta Sur, Isla Mujeres

Before Leah and Andre exchanged vows at the breathtaking Ixchel’s Well of Fortune with Isla Mujeres Elopements, we took some time to explore the stunning cliffs and crashing waves at Punta Sur, located on Isla Mujeres' south point. This area holds a special place in my heart—it’s by far my favorite spot on the island. With every visit, the landscape never fails to take my breath away.

Recently, the park at Punta Sur added beautiful new sculptures, each telling a story of the island’s rich Mayan history. The addition of these pieces has only made the already magnificent location even more captivating. As I photographed Leah and Andre, the dramatic backdrop of the cliffs and the rhythmic sound of the waves added a sense of timelessness to their elopement.

No matter how many times I return to Punta Sur, it always feels like a magical experience, and I’m so grateful to have been able to capture Leah and Andre’s intimate celebration in such an incredible place.
