A Ten-Year Anniversary Vow Renewal on Isla Mujeres for Savannah, Daniel and Their Boys
What a truly special day this was! Savannah and Daniel celebrated ten years of wedded bliss with a vow renewal on the beautiful shores of Isla Mujeres, surrounded by their two sons. The ceremony took place on their anniversary, making it all the more meaningful and sweet.
While Savannah and Daniel’s vow renewal marked a decade of marriage, their love story began sixteen years ago. When I asked them when they knew the other was “the one,” Savannah shared that she knew almost immediately. Hearing that made my heart melt—how beautiful is that?!
Although neither of them had visited Isla Mujeres before, they had always dreamed of a beach vacation together. They both love the ocean, so it seemed only fitting that their tenth anniversary would be the perfect occasion to bring that dream to life. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, and everything fell into place as they found themselves standing on a pristine beach, ready to say "I do" once more.
Their ceremony was incredibly moving, especially with both of their sons by their sides. Towards the end, their oldest son, who is only nine, stepped in as the officiant and officially declared his parents married. He even led them into their first kiss as newlyweds all over again—how adorable is that?
The love and strength of Savannah and Daniel’s relationship is so clear. Their affection for each other and their children radiates, and it’s so evident that they love to have fun together—always laughing and being a little silly. It was an absolute joy to photograph this incredible family.
