Post-Wedding Couple’s Session on Isla Mujeres | Marielle + Brandon

After the excitement of Marielle and Brandon’s beautiful destination wedding at Casa Jaguar Hotel (which you can check out [here]), we had the opportunity to spend a few more hours capturing their love during a relaxed, extended couples session a few days later. With the wedding day behind them, they were able to fully enjoy the day without the pressure of a timeline, and it was truly a joy to witness their connection in a new, fun way.

The session began at their charming accommodations, the Lotus Beach Hotel, a boutique hotel located on the serene northern part of Isla Mujeres. It’s a perfect spot for couples who want a peaceful retreat close to the island’s natural beauty. From there, we ventured into Centro Isla Mujeres, where we explored some of the island’s vibrant murals, historic fishing boats, and colorful houses that give the town its signature, laid-back charm. Each stop was a perfect backdrop to capture the playful, easygoing nature of Marielle and Brandon’s relationship.

We then made our way to Punta Sur, the southernmost tip of the island, known for its stunning cliffs overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The dramatic backdrop provided a beautiful contrast to the couple’s relaxed vibe. The overcast skies added a unique, moody feel to the images, creating a soft, timeless atmosphere that’s not typically found in the bright, sunny shots many expect from a beach destination.

We ended the session on a secluded stretch of beach, where Marielle and Brandon’s playful side came out as they waded into the ocean for some fun, carefree photos. The session was a perfect way to continue their celebration and capture even more intimate moments that they’ll cherish for years to come.
