I LOVE WIND and especially for a marriage proposal at Punta Sur and it was exactly what we had for Lilly and Brenna’s special I DO moment!

Lilly and Brenna met a few years back online. I love that online dating exists! Just think about it…you probably would never have met YOUR PERSON if it didn’t!

They said it started as a slow burn, but not because they weren’t interested, just because well…life can get in the way of life sometimes…but their first date sealed the deal! They packed a picnic lunch and went to the botanic gardens. How romantic, right!?!!!

Lilly reached out to me many, many months ago about proposing to Brenna while vacationing on Isla Mujeres. Lilly really liked the look of Punta Sur so the plan was hatched for a surprise proposal. The plan was for me to pick them up from their hotel, Hotel La Joya, for a typical couple’s session, but when we pulled into the parking lot of Punta Sur, Lilly said that Brenna figured it out. Well when the actual big moment did happen, it truly was as exciting and special as if she didn’t know!

This fabulous couple sort of did things a bit backwards. They have already purchased their wedding dresses, selected a wedding date and a venue. The proposal was the last step. LOVE this!

I am so incredibly honored that they entrusted me with capturing their marriage proposal and engagement session at the cliffs of Punta Sur!
