Secluded Beach Isla Mujeres Micro Wedding Celebration for Kari and Drake

Kari and Drake’s love story began ten years ago on St. Patty’s Day weekend at a bar, where they spent the entire night talking and getting to know each other. Later that week, Drake sent Kari flowers with a note that read, “Whether it was fate or lucky coincidence, I’m glad I met you.” Kari still carries that note in her wallet to this day—a reminder of their serendipitous meeting and the love that blossomed from it.

When it came time to celebrate their love, Kari and Drake wanted to keep things simple and intimate. They decided to combine their vacation and wedding, choosing Isla Mujeres as the perfect setting. Though they had never visited the island before, their shared love for water, beaches, and the Caribbean made Isla the ideal place to say "I do." They were excited to final Isla Mujeres Elopements, which offered collections that fit their vision perfectly!

While they were drawn to the idea of a private beach ceremony, they also wanted to incorporate the stunning scenery of the island’s south point. Highlights from their Punta Sur session can be viewed here.

After their adventure at Punta Sur, Kari and Drake were married on our secluded beach, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Their ceremony was intimate and full of love, and afterward, they celebrated with champagne, toasting to their future together.
