Elopement at Punta Sur on Isla Mujeres | Nicole + Colby

Nicole and Colby’s destination elopement on the stunning island of Isla Mujeres was nothing short of magical. These two decided to make this intimate celebration even more special by choosing Punta Sur as their ceremony location. Known for its breathtaking views, Punta Sur is the southernmost point of Isla Mujeres and a perfect backdrop for their love story.

We began the day at their charming boutique hotel Bella Mar (formally Villa La Bella) where Nicole and Colby were staying, capturing some beautiful, relaxed photos in the vibrant, colorful setting of the hotel. The playful hues and cozy ambiance of the space made for some lovely, candid moments before we set off for the day’s main event.

After a quick exploration of the hotel grounds, we headed to Punta Sur for their pre-ceremony couples session. This is always such a special time to capture intimate moments between couples before they exchange their vows. With the dramatic cliffs and the serene turquoise ocean below, Punta Sur offered the perfect scenery for Nicole and Colby to enjoy some quiet time together. As we walked along the sea walk and captured photos by the iconic limestone rocks, the love and joy between these two were truly palpable.

Their ceremony took place at the Lookout Point platform at Punta Sur, an incredible location with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. The ceremony was filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt moments that made it uniquely theirs. The couple exchanged their vows with smiles and laughter, and the entire ceremony felt lighthearted yet deeply meaningful.
